Product and packaging
Formula, fill volume, container, closure, label and outer box affect the unit cost. Different variants can introduce separate minimums and additional setup work.
Development and testing
Clarify which samples, revisions and tests are included. Additional formulation work or special testing should be identified before you approve the proposal.
Market preparation
Country-specific documentation, label review and specialist registration work may be quoted separately. Ask which services and deliverables are actually included.
Freight and handling
Storage, pick-up, export handling, freight, insurance and destination charges need an agreed scope. A production unit price is not the same as the cost of stock delivered to your warehouse.
Compare on the same basis
Compare the same specification, quantity, delivery scope, currency and payment schedule. Keep a written record of assumptions and exclusions.
